Mdchailoff. leader of the Maeedonionian Revolutionary Coriimittce. who was responsible for the murder, was assassinated in Sofia to-day. STRANGLING IN CHINA. SHANGHAI. July 17. Wbile Dr Ctwang is appealing to foreign capitals for the abolition of extra territoriality and the subjection of foreigners to Chinese law the Kiangsu Provincial Government, in which Nanking iis situated, to-day announced the reintroduction of strangling r.s the capital punishment instead of shooting, on the ground that shooting i,s insufficient punish-' ment.
