ENGLISH TENNIS TEAM
LIKELY TO VISIT AUSTRALIA. (Received 9.40 a.m.) United Press Assn—By Electric Telegraph—Oonvr i ah t. LONDON. July 18. The English Tennis Association, subject to the approval of the Australian Association, has offered to send Austin, Higgs. Gregory, and J. G. Oollinis. with a manager to Australia, on i'j three months’ torn*. They would arrive in Sydnev on November 13 and matches would he played in each State, with one test. The team would also compete in the Victorian and Australian championships, and would embark r.t Perth for home in February. A guarantee would be required of £SOO or fifty per cent, of the net profits.—Australian Press Assn.— United Service.
