ANZAC DAY
COMBINED SERVICE. A meeting of local clergymen was held in the Borough Council Chambers a few days ago in connection with the Anzac Day ceremony. There were present, Revs. G. W. Fenwick (Anglican), C. A. Foston (Methodist), F. McDonald (Presbyterian), and Lieutenant Moore (Salvation Army). The Mayor (Mr J. D. C. Crewe) pi-esided, and the meeting mapped out the programme for the Anzac service to be held on 25ti instant. It was decided to ask Mr A. R. Wylie, Nikau, a returned sodier, to play the Last Post
