SHIPPERS OF FLOUR
ARE THERE REFUNDS ON FREIGHTS--Electric Telegraph—Press Association ASHBURTON. This Day. At a meeting of farmers yesterday, Hon. O. J. Hawken, replying rto Mr Leadley, said he knew nothing of freights being refunded to Australian shippers of flour. Mr Leadley quoted figures from invoices showing that in one case £202 had been refunded. Mr Hawken said lie would like to get to: the bottom of that, and if there were- any trickery of that, he would get to the bottom of it too.
