DANGEROUS MOTORING.
A JOCKEY FINED. Electric Telegraph—Press Association HAMILTON, July 9. At the Magistrate’s Court a jockey named Harold James Tinker was charged with converting a car to his own use without colour of right, and also with dangerous driving and driving without a license. Evidence was given that the car was driven swiftly, skidded ami went over a bank. The owner had not given permission to use the car.
Accused said he had been sitting in the car with the owner and other men. The owner left and one man suggested a ride, saying the owner would not mind. Accused was fined £lO on each of tlie first two charges and £1 on the third.
