Alexandris, Alinister of Foreign Affairs, in an interview said that Greece cannot, and will not, pay indemnity to Turkey and she prefers to refuse to sign the Peace Treaty. Nevertheless, it is believed that Turkey needs peace, and will be delighted to sign for peace. Greece will then be free to puit her finances in order, and considerably reduce her army.
