FREEZING INDUSTRY.
WORKERS REPORTED TO BE DISCON TENTED.
The freezing workers’- strike :s still on in Ot-aigo and Southland, says an exchange, hut a compromise has been come to in Canterbury, the employers agreeing not to- make the last reduction of 3s from wages allowed by the Arbitration Court. There is, it is .stated, much discontent among Auckland and other freezing workers, and this has been accentuated owing to the fact that the employers have deducted the 3s front the bonus.
