Doctor Higdon gave expert opinion .at the Arbuckle trial that an injury like Miss Rappe’s might be caused by vomiting, coughing cr sneezing. The witness reluctantly admitted that while he had not heard of such cases similar internal injury could be caused by tlie sudden placing of a person in cold water. Jack AA bite, who directed tlie last film in which Miss Rappe appeared, testified that during the time lie was directing Aliss Rappe she appeared active and in good health. He never saw her hysterical, or tearing her clothes.
