Miss Winifred M. E. Haiding, of Victoria College, Wellington, who has recently been awarded a Senior L niversitv Scholarship, besides the decree of B A/, is a daughter of the Rev 11. A. Harding, Methodist Mm,ister ill charge of the Paliiatua Circuit. Miss Harding is only twenty vears of age.
The engagement is announced of Mr A. Dawson/ Secretary to the Chief 'l'eleerapli Engineer, Wellington, to Miss” Beatrice Ruth Corneille, only daughter of the late Mr Corneille, contractor, of Melbourne. The weddiner will he celebrated at Napier next month. Mr Dawson is a,n old Pahiatua boy and was a cadet at the local Post Office. During the war he sen o[ ] with the Signalling Corps.
