BLACK “ISRAELITES.”

The Prophet Noah was charged, in the Queenstown Court with sedition. He is a big confident man, about fifty-five years of age, and dressed in good European clothing. .Like all Israelites, his head is shaven. Officers and men who have fought in Africa and France, say they never saw anything to equal the madness of the charge of the Israelites, who cared nothing for bayonet or bulled, and took their punishment without a murmer. One of the wounded states that arrangements for the halt e were complete. The natives were* drawn up in four squadrons, and instructed to wait till the troops were at close quarters, and thou rush, them with swords and assegais. The Sim th African Native* Congress which is sitting at Bloomfon-tV-in. carried i* resolution strongly protesting against the pogrom action of the authorities at Bulliock, and expressing doubt as to whether the same measures would have been taken against Europeans in/ similar circumstances. Congress then adjourned, and marched in procession, bareheaded, through the location, a band playing the Dead March. Then a service in memory of the dead was held.
