AX EXC'ELEENT ENTERTAINMENT.

This talented and artistic company which is due to make a welcome* reappearance at the King’s Theatre on Monday night next, after a few weeks’ absence, promise theatregoers a complete change of songs, sketches and selections, which will range from Grand Opera to the latest and jazziest of ragtime specialities. Pahiatua patrons who had the good fortune to be present at tlie recent entertainment given by this talented band of high-class artists need no assurance of tlie good things awaiting ail who are present on Alouday next. With four such reputed humourists as Leslie Holmes, Leslie. Gordon, Norman Leslie and George Wright, hilarity will be at it a zenith. The performance is just one sucession of originalities and surprises. Captain Lance Fairfax, Af.C. (baritone) is. without doubt one of the finest vocalists of his kind who has ever toured tlie Dominion. Aliss Clarice Norman (contralto) is another member of the company with a remarkably fine voice and magnetic personality. Aliss Nellie Alaquire and Aliss Ethel Hartley are two young comediennes who have quickly become prime favourites with New Zealand audiences everywhere. Air Leslie Jophcott (tenor), is the possessor of a beautiful voice and must be heard to be appreciated. A word of praise is due to the bright little orchestra under the baton of Mr Collett, a prominent feature being tbe truly wonderful performance of Air Oh as Stewart, who plays a dozen instruments with a skill and celerity which holds his audience spell bound.
