Sir,—Afay 1 suggest to Cr. Alathews that, in view of the fact that his County, in common with all others, is “up against it,” it is time for him to stop trying to bait Cr. Cornelius? Ratepayers expect, and arc entitled to Teceive, something .more served up by the Herald eaoli time there* is a meeting of the County Council than a personal attack on Cr. Cornelius. What ratepayers ere concerned about is that the affairs of the Council be attended to with more expedition ami less expense. 1 am, etc , “RATEPAYER/’ .
