CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON.

Electric Telesrrnph—Pres® Association Wellington, Last- Night-. A joint meeting of (In* Board. of Agriculture and the Primary Producers’ Committee was held to-day. Sir James Wilson presiding. The conference discussed the present wool position, including prices, freights and other important aspects Mr W. T). Hunt, who was appointed by largo meetings of producers last year to act as a special New Zealand representative ©n the Advisory Committee at London, attended the meeting, and gave a very full and lucid account of the whole facts of the position, as ascertained by him. As a result. r«>solutions were passed which are to ho submitted to the Priire Atlnister. Tlie meeting also discussed vairous aspects of the frozen meat position, and went generaly into matters which just now are of special iettere«t to orimarv producers.
