WOOL SURPLUS.
CONFERENCE IN WELLINGTON. Electric Telegraph —Press Association Wellington, Last Night. An important conference will take place in Wellington to-morrow bethe Board of Agriculture and tho AY 00l Ooruimtteo of the Dominion E armers, which was established last* year. The principal business to be discussed is the position in regard to wool shipping freights, etc. One big question in which farmers are interested is what is to be done with tlie surplus wool clip which is in the hands of the Imperial Government upon the expiration of the present contracts. It lias to be decided whether Xyw Zealand is to be linked up in the new scheme betw*«en the Imperial authorities and Australia, or whether a similar scheme will require to be evolved for the disposal of New Zealand wool.
