CHILDREN'S CARNIVAL.
Interest in tlio Children s Patnoiio Carnival is steadily growing, and tiie various juvenile competitors are putting m bouio really good work. Although the Carnival is still in its infancy, seme exec limit sales of Art l nion tiekets are reported. Three of fhc candi<lates are imported to have done remarkably g<swl business in tlio town on Tuesday. These were Mona Hayden. Crissie Finding and Hermia McNicol. The first, result will be screened at. the King's Theatre on Saturday next, and the candidate heading the pell will receive a bonus of 120 voes. The ]X>ll for the first count w ill close at. S p.m. on Saturday, the 3rd June, at the office of the organising seeretarv (Mr J. A. AYalsh).
