An action added to the list of undefended'eases at the Wellington Supreme Court, yesterday afternoon was that iir which Samuel McLelland (Mr T. M. W ilford) petitioned for a divorce from hip' wife, Ellen Elizabeth McLelland. on the grounds of desertion. The parties were married at Palmerston North in October. 1893. In 1905 his wife left him. saying that Pahiatua, the place in which they were living, was too dull, and “she wanted to see life.” He had not seen her since. A decree nisi wn« granted, to become absolute in three months.
