SWIMMING CARNIVAL.
W EDNIISD AY ’ S PROGR AMME
The programing of events for the Children’s Swimming Carnival in the Borough baths on Wednesday afternoon next will consist of nineteen events as follows: pupils, boys, one length; (2) girls’ ditto; (3) boys’ endurance race, last season’s pupils; (6) Girls’ endurance race. last season's pupils; (7) High dive, boys; (8) High dive, girls. Open events: (9) Ladies novice race; (10) Ladies’ Handicap race; (11) Girl’s handicap, under 16 years; (12) Boys’ handicap, under 16 years; (13) Girls’ dive; (14) Boys’ dive; (15) Bays’ handicap, under 12 years; (16) Girls’ handicap, under 12 years. Comic events: (17) Retrieving corks contest; 08) Greasy pole competition. juveniles; (19) Greasy pole competition, adults. Entries for all events close with the handieapper, Mr J. A. Gibbons, or the secretary. Mr 7>. W. Wilton, on Saturday evening. Entries are free for all events, with the exception of the adult greasy pole contest. Late entries will lie nccoped on payment of a fee of 6d for oaeh entry.
