INFANTILE PARALYSIS.

Electric Telegraph—Pres* Association. Auckland, Last Night. Fifteen cases of infantile paralysis were reported to-day. five being notified from the city end ten from the country’. The total number of cases has now trenched 171. The health authorities consider there are indications that the seriousness of the cases now reported is decreasing. Only one death hat occurred among the last fifty cases reported. whereas the death-rate among cases notified in the earlier stages of the . epidemic was considerably heavier.
