KING'S THEATRE.
An excellent combination of motion pictures of the best quality and of wide variety are included in the new programme to he screened mt the Kings Theatre for the first time tonight. The most important feature oT the hill is a stirring two-reel drama. entitled “The Swindler.” The story, an absorbingly interesting one, graphically portrays the unscrupulous methods by which a stockbroker lives in luxury, while the poverty and hardships endured ln> the investors is also vividly depicted. The vivacious film favourite, Alice Joyce, tills the leading role. “Under False Colours” i.s a clever eomedy-d renin. A most interesting item “The Making of a newspaper,” shows how the l/os Angeles Examiner” is eoinpih d and published. 'Hie “Gaumoiit. Gazette” is lull of the latest. The Keystone comedy film entitled “Fatty and Mabel at the Sail Diego Exposition” is also a feature.
