SQLWAY SHOW.

As the opening day for the Masterton Show approadies, the expectation of breeders is being quickened, almost to the point of enthusiasm. The excellence of the stud stoc k grown in the Wairarapa has

become so well known that breeders are naturally anxious to see it at its best, and to compare it with the finest that can be produced in other parts of tbe Dominion. The judges on this occasion will have nb easy task, for the pick of tin- flocks of the North Island have been entered. The produce exhibits in the agricultural hall will also lx* one of the strongest ever made in the district, while the competitions and ,other classes will be represented by the very best. A feature of tin- show w ill be the sheep dog trials. Additional interest is being lent to this year’s show by the fact that a large number of troops from the Wnirarapa camps will be present. Tbe whole of the arrangements for th<> show are now' complete. Provision has been made for the picnic parties in the delightful piece of native bush which skirts the grounds, and the catering and train arrangements are perfect.
