Full arrangements have been made and everything is working smoothly in connection with the Pahintua show, to la- hold on Friday next, lltli inst .. and with anything like a favourable day the attendance, judging by the substantial increase in the membership. should be a record one. There lias been a big demand for side-show space this year, and the travelling showman promises to 1«* very much in evidence. An event which should attract a big entry and create general interest b<»s lteen added to the programme on the recommendation of the sub-committee. This is a tilting-in-tbe-ring competition, in motor oars, the lady to tilt and the gentleman to drive. Entries for this novel competition will be accepted bn the grounds. A meeting of the general committee will be bold on Tuesday next, when the various little details in connection with the gathering will receive attention.
