ANGLICAN CHURCH.
MEETING OF VESTRY
The quarterly meeting of the vestry of the Anglican Church was held on Wednesday. A full attendance of members discussed the annual garden fete. It was decided unanimously to hold the Fete in the vicarage garden on March Ist.
It was decided to arrange work and fancy stalls, product' stall, lollie stall, bran tub. and various side-shows, which will bo a special feature of this year s event. Amongst other suggestions, which will probably be adopted in addition to tho usual competitions were, an "art gallery." and a rifle range, whilst two members of the vestry are at work on a wonderful optical illusion, called "The Kaiser’s Head.” which, being shown for the nr.t time in Pahiatua. ought to prove a great attraction.
