BOWLING SEASON.
The local bowling green is now in splendid order and the fine weather on Saturday afternoon tempted several trnndlers to engage in a few games. Hie matches played were as follows:—Hughes, Ranson, Husband (skip) 23 v. Hosking, Bissett, Scott (skip) 19. In this game there was a tte on the twentieth head, when Husband’s rihk put on four. Leitcli Mcßratney, Hewat (skip) 20 v. Murrell, Dr. Paterson, Rev. M. BawdenHa.rris (skip) 7. In this game 15 out of 21 heads were played.
