THE LEADING TEAMS. The competition for the Shield in the Friendly Societies’ Card Tournament was resumed last evening. Results: —Oribhage: Citizens’ A beat Citizens’ B, 5 games to nil; Foresters’ B beat the Band, 4 games to 1, Fire Brigade beat Troeadero, 3 games to 2; Druids heat Foresters’ A, 3 games to 2. Euchre: The Town Band heat Foresters' B (by default) on account of their opponents not turning up; Citizens’ A lieat Citizens' B. 4 games to ] ; Troeadero beat Fire Brigade, 3 games to 2 ; Druids heat Foresters’ A, 3 games to 2. The state of the games now sthnds as follows:—Crib: Citizens’ A, 9; Foresters’ A, 7; Band, 5; Fire Brigade. 4 ; Druids. 3 ; Troeadero 2; Citizens’ B, 0. finchre: Band, 8; Troeadero, 7 ; Foresters’ B, 5 ; Citizens' A, 4; Fire Brigade. A : Druids, 3; Foresters’ A, 3; Citizens' B 1.
