METHODIST CHURCH.
GATHERING AT AI AN G ATAIN OKA A Band of Hope gathering and the annual Methodist Social was held in the Alethodist Church, Alangatainoka, on Wednesday evening. Rev. W. Beckett, of Woodville, who presided, stated that the congregation was slowly increasing, but there were many who never went to any place of worship. He also referred to the coming licensing poll. A vote of thanks was past’d to the performers, Air Ashbv mentioning the help of tlie officers of the Salvation Army. The following ,was the programme:— Sing, dr AY.
