A SCOW ASHORE.
Elect-'o Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland. July 29. The scow Reliance is ashore between Alannkau Heals and Waikato. The crew all get ashore safely. The lightlioiisokeoper at Mamikon Heads reports that- the Reliance is ashore about seven miles .south of tho entrance to the Heads. The scow sprang a leak in the vicinity of tho centre hoard, and to, save her the captain ran her up on the lieacli in a sate? position. The Reliance left Onelmnga. on Wednesday last, and anchored inside the Heads awaiting a favourable wind. She crossed the bar on Saturday hound for Raglan, with a load of t iinher.
