THE WILLIS SCANDAL. LARGE PAYMENTS Sydney, May 29. It is stated that the payments made in connection with land transactions, as disclosed before the Royal Commission, amounted to £67,000. W. N. Willis is said to have received £14,000, and Peter C. Close £15,000.
