Referring to the serious hunting accident which hefell the Marquis ot Linlithgow, on March 29th. the London correspondent to the Melbourne “Argus” remarks: “The North Cheshire hounds met at Morn's Mili. and during a fast run near Tattemtil road station the Marquis was leaping a iiedge when his horse turned a complete somersault, throwing his rider heavily into the ditch anil then rolling on the top of him. When extricated the Marquis was taken to Hig-gin-liild his hunting box near Malpas. Dr Jones a Liverpool specialist, round that four ribs had been fractured. a collar-bone broken, and that a lung had been perforated. Only a tew weeks before the Marquis had broken his left collar-bone while hunting.
