PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunedin. May 39. The criminal sittings of the Supreme- Court were concluded to-day. William Walquist was re-tried on a charge of assault and robbery, the I revi ' is jury having disagreed, anil on being found guilty, was sentenced to three years' imprisonment. Alfred \\ alker Pearson, for the theft ot a stun of money from a partner, received twelve months’ imprisonment Harry Walter Morlev, who had pleaded guilty at Oamaru to embezzlinug £149 troin his employer, wa, sentenced to twelve months’ imprisonment. Justice Cooper declined to grant probation in the last two ca-es.
