Deaths from Enteric Fever.

The Governor has received a cablegram stating that two troopers are reported dangerously ill—George Spring, Sixth Contingent, of Linwood Christchurch ; F. J. Chamberlain, Seventh Contingent, Wooded, Canterbury, at Ueilbron. Private A. H. McKay of the Sixth Contingent, died of enteric fever on the 11th Februaryat Wakkerstroom. McKay belonged to the Canterbury section of the Contingent, and Ins father lives at Silverstream, Fairlie. A further message dated 16th, states that Private Carl Joscphson of Westport, was dangerously ill of enteric fever at Charlestown Lieutenant Shera, of Auckland, who was lately reported to be improving, had a relapse on the 15th.
