Received this day at 12.5 a.m. Lord Stanley, speaking at Liverpool, admitted solo responsibility for recommending the acceptance of the meat contract and said the biggest men in South Africa were behind it.
Adelaide, February 20.
The local unit of the Commonwealte Contingent sailed in the Manchester Merchant. There was no ceremony.
