THE LUCKNOW MINE OUT* RAGE.
By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.— Per Press Association.
Received 10.25 a.m,
Sydney, This Day. The Lucknow strikers disavow all knowledge of the explosion, and say it must have been caused accidentally or otherwise by someone inside the mine fence. Later. The bomb thrown at the Lucknow mine spent its force in a stack of timber, which saved the room in which the men were from being shattered. It made a large hole in the ground, shook the buildings severely and smashed some window frames. The management points out that it is nut possible the explosion was the result of an accident, as the fuse attached was different to that used in the mine.
