Makuri Cricket and Football Clubs
A meeting of the Cricket Club was held at Maknri on Saturday. Mr 0. W. Tylee was Noted to the chair. The following officers were elected : President, Mr Carruthers; vice presidents. Messrs li. H. Wilson. K. 0. Wilseu, and \V. Dunning; hon. secretary and treasurer. Mr E. Tucker; general and works committee. Messrs \\. Spring. C. \V. Pyloe. F. N. Reid. .1. D. Murphy. J. Berry. F. Anderson. !.. Malmanche. \Y. A. Oliver. N. Willoughby, three to form a quorum. The first match W’!l be arranged for at au early date by tlie secretary and the , committee. Subscriptions, 5s per annum payable 01 once on becoming a member. The choice vf a captain was left over until theclub further increased in member*.
