By Telegraph—Own Correspondent. Mastrrton, Thi* Day. The football match Masterton v. Gr«ytowu was played on Saturday at Masterlon. and resulted ia a win for the local team by 10 to nil. These club* tie for the banner and pla> off. Complaints against the filthy state of the Chinese backyards are causing an agitation here. Trout fishing started early on Saturday, and some nice fish were taught. Anglers so far report trout are in good condition. They anticipate excellent sport when the weather takes up. Active stops are being taken to give a hearty welcome to the New South Vt ales team. A Maori haka will be daneed for their benefit at Te Ore Ore.
