STOCK REPORT. Messrs Low«s and lorns report that their Mas ter ton yards were filled with 1 butti sheep and cattle of good quality, and the sale was spirited throughout, everv aoof being sold. Prices have an upward tendanev. Good business may be antiei paled during the spring months. Fat wethers brought from 12s fid to 18e 3d ; forward do, 11s fid to 11s Hd ; ewes, in lamb, 7s 8d to 10e fid ; hoggets, 5s Id to 9m Id. In cattle the entries were much exceed, 250 head being yarded and sold, but it is a little early in the season for grown steers. Three-year-old steers, L 5 , . | pear eU 66* to 70§; 47s to 50a; dairy heifers and cows, frown 90s to L 8; young heifers, from 66s to 925; breeding cows, 93a fid to 100 s: wean«r*. 28s fid to -»1 • sd. Horses wore very unsaleable. Draught, 1.16 to L2l; hacke, not quotable. Messrs Abraham and Williams report: V* e held our Awahuri sale on Tuesday. Young nattle advanced m price; beef was firm at quotations, aad mads ready sale ; the fat bullocks advertised, did cot come forward, and was a cause of disappointment to many ; s und hoggets sold freely et improved rates. A moderate supply of stock way yarded at Palmerstoa yesterday. Sheep met with fair competition ; the hoggets were rather deficient in quality. Steers and weanors were steady throughout ; mileh cows aad heifers neglected. During the week we sold privately, 2000 store wethers at cur rent rates.
