The milk supply to tko local factory will bo very largely increased next season. Sovoml now suppliers will ho on the sards. Some of tho largest will bo from the Forth Tiraumea. These will have this long extra distaaoe of ovor two miles per day to travel. Why 7 Just because the late members of our road beards ruled It should be so. It is simply disgraceful te find things remaining ia such a etate and inflicting euoh a bar against these genial settleri.
The proposed debate on prohibition did not some off last Wednesday evening, owing to inclement weather. I hear that a public meeting is to be called this week te deoide upon a eita for library purposes. Mr Walker is, I believe, the prineipal mover, ae he eoneidere the village and other settlers ought to have n voios in this matter. There ia not tho ilighloet doubt but that ha is right. However, the settlers ought to roll up and givo their views oa the matter.
