A donation of considerable interest has been made to the Turnbull Library (Wellington) by Mr T. Lindsay Buick. It consists of the document from which, on November 12, 1918, his Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion (Lord Liverpool) read to the people of New Zealand the message of his Majesty King Gcftrge V announcing the signing of the Armistice which brought to a close the Great War between the Powers of CentraL Europe and the Allies.
