“Australia is now putting her house in order, and everybody seems bent on doing the right thing,” said the New Zealand representative of the Australian National Travel Association (Mr S. W. M. Stilling) to a Wanganui Chronicle reporter recently. From certain things that were happening in the country just now, he said, it could be seen that Australia had turned the corner. -With ordinary luck the position should right itself within 18 months or two years. The considerable falling off in the tourist traffic to and from New Zealand was due only to the economic position.
