THRICE BIGAMIST
“ MA ” KENNEDY’S NEW HUSBAND. LOS ANGELES, July 29. The city was regaled this week with the antics of “Ma ” Kennedy, mother of the evangelist Aimee M'Pherson, in excommunicating her new husband. “What a man! ” she fondly called him in newspaper descriptions of their marriage; but when she learned that he possessed three undivorced wives, she exclaimed: “What a hobo! ” The Angelas Temple, Aimee’s head: quarters, applied for a medical commission, which examined “ Ala ” and found her quite sane. Next day the court annulled her marriage. “ I thought it was romance, but realise that I’m too old! ” cried grandmother Kennedy, but no sooner had she rid herself of the philandering Mr Hudson than she wanted him back. On Friday night he was arrested for bigamy. Airs Kennedy promptly supplied him with bail and high-priced legal assistance. Meanwhile Hudson is “ cashing in ” upon his notoriety by writing a continued story of his remarkable experiences in a much-married life.
