THE TAI TAPU DAIRY CO., LTD.
A RECORD OUTPUT. CHRISTCHURCH, September 25. It was stated at the annual meeting of shareholders of the Tai Tapu Dairy Company. Ltd., at Tai Tapu this afternoon that the company holds the record for output in the South Island. Its profit this year as disclosed in the balance sheet was £1G,456 18s 7d, and its output was a record in the history of the company. On the directors’ recommendation it was decided that £989 10s 2d should be written off the plant and furnishings, that lid per lb on butter-fat should be refunded to suppliers for the period September 1, 1929, to May 31, 1930. that 3d per lb should be refunded to suppliers on butter-fat supplied during August, 1929, and June and July. 1930, and that a dividend at the rate of 8 per cent, per annum should be declared.
