A light and breezy touch was introduced by . a visiting counsel in the course of his remarks in a case in the Supreme Court at Wellington the other day (reports the Post). He had made one submission, which, he said, he firmly thought was tenable with “ all due respect,” but which his Honor Air Justice Reed smilingly rejected; and then he made another., “ I always hold with the theory,” he said, “that one extra mouth makes no difference.” Counsel admitted to his Honor that he was married but had no family; “I am afraid I must also overrule you there,”-'was his Honor’s reply, amidst laughter.
