Without coming to any definite conclusion as to its power to grant such leave to appeal, although it considered it did .not have that power, the Court of Appeal has dismissed the application of Thomas Benjamin Slipper, barrister and solicitor, of Apia, Samoa, for leave to appeal to the Privy Council, holding that the case was considered not of ■ sufficient general or public importance.
