Individual members of Liverpool’s underwood who have declared they are afraid to accept invitations to attend church because of the embarrassment of their appearance, are being catered fair by a broadcast service to street passersby. From a Wesleyan church in a congested district, choir and congregational singing flood the public thoroughfare through a loud-speaker installed in the church porch and connected with amplifiers and microphones in the interior.
