The Wanganui Chronicle reports that the Attorney-general (Mr T. K. Sidey) has decided to recommend the appointment of Mr Michael Myers, K.C.. of Wellington, to be Chief Justice of New Zealand, in succession to Sir Charles SkerretL
The announcement of the appointment will probably be made after the Gover-nor-General’s return to Wellington at the week-end.
