CASH ORDER SYSTEM.
TENDENCY TO EXTRAVAGANCE. HAMILTON, March 1. A strong resolution asking the Government to take action against cash order trading was passed unanimously by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce last night. The resolution expressed the opinion that the commissions paid by retailers under this system must be added to the price of goods, and that purchasers getting credit in this manner would be encouraged to become extravagant rafher than thrifty.
