NAUTICAL COURT.

WELLINGTON, March 1.

A Nautical Court to-day considered the stranding and loss of the scow Zingara on Hokitika bar, and without retiring was unanimous that the loss was not due to negligence on the part of the master or any member of the crew. The ship failed to answer her helm, and afterwards it was found that the starboard steering chain had carried away. The gear had been examined the day before, and appeared to be in order.
