TAIERI HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Taieri Horticultural Society was held at Mosgiel last week. Mr J. P. Walls (retiring president) was in the chair. The annual report and balance sheet, which were read and adopted, showed a small credit balance.
The office-bearers for the incoming year were elected as follow-s:—Patron, Mr J. P. Walls; president, Mr E. Pilling; vicepresident. Mr M'Cunn; committee— Mes-d.-'-'-.es Pilling, Pringle, Walls, and Gil-
lon, Miss Currie, Messrs J. R. 'Brown, S. M'Millan, W. W. Turnbull, A. Pedofsky, A. Miller, J. S. Watt, John Aitken, A. Hendry, J. M'Ausland, and R. Holland; secretary and treasurer, Miss R. Pearson. It was decided that five form a quorum.
The sum of two guineas was voted to the secretary for past services. The schedule was revised for the autumn show.
