Although it is quite good, money, some of the Auckland shopkeepers have viewed with deep suspicion the ornamental florin which has been circulated by the Commonwealth Government to commemorate the opening of the new Parliament House at Canberra (states the Star). It is much more imposing than the florin that New Zealanders with money are accustomed to. On the b-tf'-k of the coin is the King’s head in relief. On the front is a representation of Parliament House at Canberra inside an ornamental border, and below, on a small raised oval gently reminiscent of a Rugby' football, the data is inscribed.
