SATURDAY’S MATCHES. MEN’S GAMES. The match between University A and City was played on the Oval in favourable conditions, the score being: University A 1 goal, City nil. University B met Training College, the game resulting in a win for University by 5 goals to 4. Albany succeeded in defeating High School Old Boys by 4 goals to nil. —Second Grade. — High School old Boys Colts, 3 goals, University D 2. LADIES’ MATCHES. Training College 6 goals. Momona 2. Triangle 4 goals, Ex-High School 2. University I 2 goals, Technical Old Girls 1. < University II 5 goals. Girls’ High School 1. The whistle was held by Mrs Purvis. NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, May 1. At the annual meeting of the council of the New Zealand Hoekey Association a credit balance of £43 was shown, with an accumulated fund of £379. Mr H. S- J. Goodman was elected president and Messrs R. Graeie, S. Holland, 0. Bellamy, H. Throp, A. F. Preston, and J. Gunn were elected a management committee. motion to have tournaments for the interprovincial shield instead of challenge matches was lost. The council decided to recommend the incoming executive to bring an overseas team to New Zealand next year.
