That the person who enters a shop during prohibited hours for the purpose of making purchases renders himself liable to prosecution for aiding and abetting in the offence of unlawful trading, was shown by a decision given at the Greymouth Magistrate’s Court- recently, when a Greymouth resident who purchased 2s worth of ham from a restaurant keeper on a Sunday was ‘convicted and ordered to pay costs (10s).
